Cook diced onions in fry pan and add ground beef. Cook beef until fully browned, chopping up into small, minced meat as you cook.
Add wet ingredients (tomato sauce and paste), then seasoning (measurements to taste ). Add 1/2 cup of shredded cheese into the mix - leave 1/2 cup for topping when you serve.
Add beef franks into the chili and serve with shredded cheese topping.
