Creamed Spinach

Add some healthy fat to your spinach with this creamy spinach dish.

With a blend of cheeses, butter and sour cream, it will turn your spinach into something special (and yummy!).

Start with steaming fresh spinach and cook until slightly wilted. Drain and place in a large pan.

In a small pot, mix the cream cheese, butter, parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese and seasoning together until well blended and creamy. You can also add feta cheese, if desired, for that extra “punch” of flavor.

Pour cheese sauce over the drained spinach in the pan and stir until blended together, then serve!

  • 1 pkge Fresh Spinach
  • 3 TB Parmesan cheese
  • 3 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 TB Sour cream
  • 2 TB Butter
  • 1/4 cup Ricotta cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Feta cheese (optional)
  • Seasoning: onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper
  1. Steam spinach in a steamer until slightly wilted, drain and place in a large pan.

  2. Mix all sauce ingredients together (cream cheese, parmesan cheese, sour cream, butter, ricotta cheese, feta cheese and seasonings) in a small pot. Stir until creamy.

  3. Pour cheese sauce over spinach in pan and blend, then serve.
