Keto Pizza With Whey Protein Powder Crust
For those who don’t want a cauliflower pizza crust or an almond flour pizza crust, this is a good alternative. It’s made with whey isolate protein powder instead of a flour or vegetable crust.
The pizza sauce (found in the cauliflower pizza crust recipe) and toppings used for this pizza included cherry tomatoes, black olives, and mozzarella cheese, but you can add any kind of pizza topping you desire.
- 1/2 Cup Whey Isolate Protein Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Baking powder
- 3 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 oz Mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz Cream cheese
- 1 TB Olive oil
- 1 Tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 Tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Egg
- Pizza sauce (topping) see link for homemade sauce in post)
- TOPPINGS: cherry tomatoes, black olives, mozzarella cheese
In a bowl, mix all ingredients (except sauce and toppings, of course) until dough is formed.
Line a pizza baking pan with parchment paper (sprayed with oil). Spread dough on pan and form shape of pizza.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Top with pizza sauce and favorite toppings., then bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese melted.
